The Saco School Department believes that teacher growth, which includes the evaluation process, should be authentic and should reflect the actual work of educators (educators, educational technicians, and administrators). Professional growth and evaluation should result in a continuous improvement experience for the educator, which will result in best practices for student learning and results. This evaluation system distinguishes two proficiency levels for educators and outlines accompanying expectations.
Substitute Teacher Information
Regular Substitute - $125 a day
Retired/Certified Teacher Substitute - $140 a day
Nurse Substitute - $175
