Thank you to everyone who attended our Family Math & Literacy Night. It was a historic night for our schools—bringing together students from Pre-K all the way through 5th grade for the first time on this scale. As we look forward to our new buildings and our evolving school community, seeing so many families connecting and learning together was truly inspiring. Big things are happening in our youngest grades! Both Young School and Fairfield School are launching Best Buddies programs this month—bringing students together to build friendships, celebrate inclusion, and strengthen a sense of belonging across our school communities. Students and staff have been working behind the scenes to plan special kickoff events, led by Best Buddies teams in each building, and students will even be sporting their new Best Buddies Saco t-shirts to mark the occasion.

Join us for the first-ever combined Math & Literacy Family Night on Wednesday, March 18th (PK-2 from 5–6pm and Grades 3 - 5 from 5:30-6:30pm) at CK Burns School! As our district grows and we look forward to our new school buildings in the coming years, we want to start building our "all-together" community now. This is a rare opportunity for our youngest learners and our upper elementary students to share a space, have fun, and learn together.

Saco School’s Unified Sports Team is gearing up for another exciting season following February break, and our Saco athletes are inviting the community to show their support through this year’s merchandise fundraiser. Proceeds from each purchase help provide essential equipment, uniforms, and team experiences that make the season meaningful for our student-athletes and partners.
