Art Show

The Saco School Department invites the community to experience the creativity and talent of its young artists at the upcoming PreK–Grade 8 Art Show, on display at the Dyer Library/Saco Museum. A special opening celebration will be held on Friday, May 1, 2026, from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., offering families, friends, and community members the opportunity to explore the exhibit together. The artwork will remain on display through May 29, 2026, during regular museum hours.

The exhibit will feature a vibrant collection of student artwork representing all Saco schools serving grades PreK through 8, including Saco PreK, Young School, Fairfield School, C.K. Burns School, and Saco Middle School. The show highlights a wide range of artistic expression and celebrates the role of visual arts in student learning.

“This exhibit is a wonderful reflection of the creativity, imagination, and growth happening in our classrooms every day,” said Meg Parkhurst, Assistant Superintendent of Saco School Department. “We are proud to share our students’ work with the broader community and grateful to our partners at the Dyer Library/Saco Museum for providing such a welcoming space.”

Admission to the exhibit is free and open to the public. Community members are encouraged to stop by, celebrate student achievement, and experience the power of the arts in education.
